Head Boy & Head Girl
In the Easter Term of Year 12 the school community elects a Head Boy and Head Girl. The Head Boy and Head Girl represent the Head Teacher and Director of Sixth Form in a number of ways. This may include making speeches at opening evenings, giving votes of thanks to visitors, organising school events, coordinating student activities and representing the school to the wider community. House Captains
House Captains are the public face of the House and its highest position of responsibility. They assist the Pastoral Team in a range of activities. This may include monitoring the prefect duties, co-ordinating the entries for the inter-house competitions and assisting the Head Boy and Head Girl at school functions. Prefects
The prefects: linked to the House Captains, the prefects carry out duties on behalf of the school, including lunch and break duties and school tours. They assist in the organisation and running of events such as fundraising, publicising the work of the House, working with younger students and enabling greater opportunities for all. Sports Representation
All students are encouraged to take an active part in their own physical well-being and development. Students are encouraged to undertake at least one hour of physical activity per week. All students are encouraged to represent their house in at least one of the inter-house competitions.
