This vision of the Social Science Department is to introduce students to the scientific study of how and why people behave as they do in groups and in society, which includes the teaching of the systematic study of brain and behaviour. The staff of the Social Science department are highly motivated with a desire to achieve the best possible results. They strive to inspire an interest in current social science research. The focus of lessons is creating a life time passion and providing knowledge and insight of the world around them. In order to present their wide range of knowledge, students are taught how to critically evaluate and reflect on the psychology and sociology of current world events.
